Eco Schools - Marian
Oakwood is an Eco School, we were awarded our first Green Flag in May 2019 and are currently working towards renewing this.
We have an Eco Committee in school who are actively involved in all our Eco projects, including recycling, gardening and keeping an eye on the biodiversity around our school grounds. They also undertake a litter pickup in our school grounds once every half term.
All our pupils are involved in Eco Schools activities, through gardening, nature walks and in class recycling.
